How Your Imagination Is Far Better Than Will Power When It Comes To Public Speaking.

A lot of people will make a resolution or a jaw gritted promise to do something or change the way they behave, especially when it comes to public speaking. But what they don't know is that they a merely using will power. What they should do to change their behaviour or boost their confidence is to utilise their imagination.

Imagination beats will power hands down. Lets take for example public speaking. Now will power is like an elastic band that is stretched around your three fingers. you can try to do that all day but after a while the front door bell rings or something else happens and you forget that you have an elastic band around your fingers.

What happens the band snaps back hence the "snap back effect." Now in terms of public speaking you can only be confident for so long using will power. Maybe you are confident in small crowds but when you come in front over thousands you quiver.

When you use your imagination you can go into the theatre of your mind and imagine yourself on stage confidently talking to millions of people. so when it comes to the real thing it is de ja vu.
